1/1 none higher T206s often sell for a considerable premium. But you have to find the right buyer. The handful of collectors trying for a PSA master set may be willing to pay substantially more than PSA basic set collectors for a 1/1 none higher card--provided they need it.
On the "provided they need it" point, some 30-40% of T206s were graded by PSA BEFORE they started tracking backs. So there are quite possibly one (or more) Wiltse Portrait Cap Cycle 460s already in PSA plastic that are not listed in the pop report. FWIW, Cycle 460 is a somewhat underrated back on the price/difficulty spectrum. Scot Reader |
