Haha my roommate would totally do something like that. Last month I bought a nice Wusthof knife set and he accidentally threw away one of the knifes. Who does that?!...Oh the joys of living in a cramped overpriced NYC apartment with two roommates.

Anyway I'm sure the buyer wants nothing to do with opening this pack, but if he (or she) does, broadcasting the pack rip live and charging people a fee to see it could work and the money could go to a great charity.
I don’t know maybe not enough people in the collecting community would care to see it live, but maybe a poll could determine that. It wouldn’t be too hard to setup either. Basically you just setup a private live video on Vimeo or Youtube that is password protected. Pay money to a paypal account and you get the password and access to the live pack rip streaming video. And if nothing significant is found in the pack, it's not a complete lost because the pack rip generated money to support a charity. Probably a massive pipe dream though.

I'll throw a $100 in the pot, just $1,500 more to go.
...but it would be a blast to see. Maybe make it a mini "event" at the upcoming National.

I always thought the Allen and Ginter branch was Factory 42, NC and not Factory 25, VA. Therefore, considering the box has the L&M designation, it would have a much better chance holding a white border if it was a Factory 42.
I also predict it has a coupon inside with 10 stale ciggys, with nothing else, not even a fish. |

Guys...
It is time to pay for the investment. The pack ended at $9k. Some of you posted in this thread that they would throw in $100 or $50 for it. IT IS TIME TO PAY!!! |

Personally, I think it is an incredibly cool pack. I have no idea who won it, but I sure would be happy if it were in my collection. I don't get all the trash talking of other collector's purchases from behind a computer monitor. This pack is as likely as anything to have a T206 in it. Why the need to try to make people feel bad?
