He is expensive but I think he tends to undergrade. I bought VG from him through Ebay and it looked like a pretty good EX to me (and I tend to undergrade as well).

Levi, his family and Jim are all good people. You will get what you pay for and we all love great deals but there is nothing wrong in this (or any collectibles buisness) with honest retailers.

I've known of 707 for a long time. I don't believe I have ever bought a card from them and, if I did, it was a one time single card transaction. Overpriced.

I've only dealt with him once, without problem. I've always thought his prices were high, but if you don't mind paying, by all means go ahead and buy.

Jimmy and Levi are great people. Ive bought cards snd never had a problem with them. If you like the card buy it. Will be sent promptly and secured.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I think I will give 707 a try. From what I have read, their prices might be a little high they are obviously honest. For a new Pre-War collector like me that is still learning, it is good to know I will get what I pay for.

Back in 95, when I was collecting t206s in general, and trying to get all 16 backs, 707 had a Drum-backed Bender no trees that I was interested in. But for more than I would have ever dreamed paying for a card at the time. I called to see if they might bring the card to the National that year so I could see it in person and Levi agreed. The doors open and I hightail it to the 707 booth to see the card. It was in absolutely poor condition, just as described. Levi told me the price again, and I countered with an offer 15% less. "Let me think about it," he said. He proceeded to finish setting up some cards, arranged his displays, sat down, and ate a sandwich. I stood and waited. 30 minutes later, he asked me what I wanted to see. Told him I was waiting on his answer about my offer. "Oh, that. Yeah, I'll take it." Was the only card I intended to buy and had the rest of the day to look at stuff I could no longer afford. (But I did get to hold a PSA 3 Honus Wagner at the SportcardsPlus booth)
