Default Trying to land my dream job

I am done filling out my application for the National Baseball Hall of Fame, I am hoping I can get the job, if not I at least tried. I have a good knowledge of the hofers, the artifacts, baseball history and feel good about my chances but never know. Its my dream job, so crossing my fingers. I also applied for library and museum work.

That would be way cool. Even if it doesn't offer a huge payday, how cool would it be going to work everyday to do something you love and have a passion for such as baseball. Just having that mindset going into your work day would be priceless. Good luck!

Default one new update

I was at work yesterday just chillin waiting for my shift to start and checked my phone to see if I had any messages, I looked and it showed that I had one new voicemail so I checked it and sure enough it was the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum calling back for an interview, so today I will be calling them back and hopefully I can talk to the lady that called me about the interview, I feel good things about where this is going.

That's a bummer

Why is that? Does your fiancé work for them? Or she doesn't want you to take the job?

no, I don't make enough at my current job that I would be able to support living in NY since its a summer job I would have to live there, and I cant afford two places.

I was thinking that it would be tough for them to fill a short term position like that because rents are very high during the summer tourist season unless you are at least 20 miles away.
