Great pick ups. I have always liked Bresnahan's signature.

Been a while for me to pick anything up since the Ruth and prepping for the season, but here are some dupes except the Morgan and '63 Topps

Here are two of my pick-ups for the month:
1. Miguel Fuentes with the P R notation for Puerto Rico, and 2. W. E. "Wild Bill" Donovan I will be getting 1 or 2 more items and will post images of them later. Happy Collecting and good luck filling your want lists. |

Nice! What kind of document is it? Can't really make it out.

. . . on the W.E. Wild Bill Donovan cut from Kevin Keating and Quality Autographs and Memorabilia. Love the bold, black signature against the still vibrant yellow paper. Thanks for sharing

Great pick ups - I'm a vintage guy but I am also a Pilots fan and know M. Fuentes is a toughie. Nice Going. Also Greg - that's a beautiful document. Happy you found it. I'm still new to autographs but I love the old timers vintage sigs vs. their modern ones. Anyway, was happy to find this Eddie Collins. Last edited by WillowGrove; 04-14-2014 at 10:50 AM. |

Thanks for the compliment. I like the Eddie Collins, it is a great image with his usual legible signature. I am still looking for a photo of him, preferably an 8x10, to add to my collection.

I was very excited about getting this, since I was 15 that year and went to a ton of games that season. I cut out the box scores for the 20th win for each of the pitchers and taped them in a binder that the Orioles gave away that year (still have it - signed by Brooks Robinson on the cover). The only problem is that I want to take the picture out to get it authenticated, but I can't figure out how to get the fasteners off!
