Great story!! Any idea why he wouldn't sign in the past? Seems odd since he is still involved in baseball which would make him readily available.
And congrats on this accomplishment.

Awesome story!! Great to hear of a connection like this happening.
I recently bought a Mickey Mantle autographed ball on the B/S/T and I had the ball in hand before the seller had my check!! He told me that since we were both New Englander's he knew he could trust me! Congrats on finally getting the signature Scott!
