I like it!

The engineer in me is really digging the 200-entries-per-raffle scenario, with each entry yielding a 1/200 chance of winning a $4k painting by Graig. (That's better odds than most modern card packs, isn't it?) Those numbers would round out nicely, with each entry getting exactly 5 numbers, which would also make it easier on whoever is keeping track of all this.

Hopefully the response will be overwhelming, and we can make this a regular event! Maybe Graig will even get to paint someone besides Mantle or Ruth

Lance,

I like the idea of a cap at 200. The trick is stopping right on 200, but probably could be done

I am already searching for a suitable Billy Grabarkewitz photo.

To All,
The thread is all set to go, just waiting for 8PM. Once it is up and running, do not try to contact me as I will be transposing names onto the site. I will do a quick search for messages at 8:30, then back to the site to transpose more names.
Any question, I have a couple of minutes

Just stop selling them at 200. Doesn't seem that difficult. Good luck!!

Leon,
That is the best way to go, I believe. A nice even number would be easier..
Thank You

So far I have received two suggestions to cap the sales at 200 entries, from two quality members who I highly respect. Any additional funds over the 200 could have increased the size of painting done by Graig.
But if everyone is happy with the cap at 200, then so be it. The 16 x 20 is a nice sized work of art. Let me know if you have any further suggestions, or opinions on the cap or no cap. This is your raffle, your dream.
Already, several members express themselves as "excited", and "please count me in", or "a chance at Kreindler", among other like expressions of interest. That is what this is all about. It can happen.
