Actually, I can help. These tickets originated from a large collection of early Philadelphia Athletics and Philadelphia Phillies tickets of games that were attended by one Philadelphia fan. This collection first entered the hobby in the early 1990's and were purchased by George Kennigsberg (sp?) who at the time owned and operated the Monterey Bay Sports Museum in Northern California. All of these tickets had the year and score written on the front in pencil which was later overwritten with vintage steel-tipped black fountain pen by the patron. It's interesting to note that many teams did not issue tickets with dates (year) making it challenging to determine exact vintage. The other thing which is noteworthy about this collection was that the patron carefully pasted these into a scrapbook preserving their condition. All of the tickets were expertly removed from the scrapbook. Some have lined paper remnants, while others are fairly free of paper. Overall, great early baseball collectibles. I do recall seeing a couple of these tickets from early Babe Ruth pitched games, although he was not the winner in either game. I regret not buying these, FWIW... I hope this helps. Great information, Scott. Exactly what I was looking for. There is some glue residue on some of them so I guessed they were taken from a scrapbook. Thanks again - Ed

I'm not sure if you did the research to determine what happened in each of the games that your tickets were from? The second ticket from the top is of particular note. On 9/25/09 the A's and Cleveland played a doubleheader. In the 1st game, HOF Eddie Plank was the winning pitcher (shutout). The second game featured a terrific pitchers duel between HOF Addie Joss and HOF Chief Bender. Bender and the A's prevailed, shutting out CLE 3-0. Neat ticket!
