Could not resist raw from the local card shop; rare feeling of that local buy. Paid low 3 loot and it 4'd, which was nice.

The Monster is a fun set to pursue. Just be ready to spend a small fortune if you intend on finishing the entire thing, even without the big four.

Good luck.

Default E90-1 Gibson (Front View)

Received this beauty in the mail from Lee at Sterling Sports Auctions today. It's been a long time since I have added any George Gibson cards to my collection.

Thanks again Lee!

Hi-
I was very happy to acquire a second HOF postcard this month. I got this one at a flea market. It is in rough condition, but did not cost much which is how I like it.

That's why I haven't started it yet haha. I'm not ready for a small fortune.

Thanks Jeff and Joe (and Derek from an earlier post)! I really like post cards but finding them at the price I want to pay is not easy.

This is true, Ed. I don't know what I'd do. Thankfully, by the time I finish the set, I'll be too old to care.

Well, at least you know what's next after you're done playing with the Goudey Gum cards.

Very true. Goudey Sets are moving along pretty quickly. Just to think last May 13' I started the set. At this rate maybe I have this set complete by next year. One can only hope.
