as always, a great show. good to see everyone there. nice chatting. good food and drinks with a few questionable house guests?!? and Mark, quit "picking things up" in Seattle. my closet is getting thinner. cheers to all and see you at the next WSSCA show.

The 2014 Spring WSSCA Show was one of the best
The 2014 Spring Washington State Sports Collectors Association (WSSCA) show was one of the club's best. Lots of fine vintage material and vintage collectors - though still young at heart. I'm looking forward to the Fall edition.

This show was the jackpot for me. I actually scored thirty Obaks! Mostly thanks to Scott, but also Mark and Conor.

Scott's girlfriend's nieces (age 10 and 6) stopped by and Rob A. give them each a free T206 common. A nice gesture and I explained to the girls how cool are T206s. The ten year old calculated in her head how long ago was 1909.
After explaining how the cards were sold in packs of cigarettes, I said "Baseball cards have been sold with most everything. Tobacco, gum, toys, underwear, soda pop." The 6 year old said to her sister "Did he say underwear?" Last edited by drcy; 06-06-2014 at 02:02 PM.
