it's his rookie card and yours is actually better centered than most examples. the bottom right corner is a killer, otherwise it appears to be a pretty nice card. really nice to hear your son enjoys the cards too. |

Yes, the corner ding is a head thumper.
I wish I could remember what I paid for it back in the early 80's My son gets his love for the cards the old fashioned way, from watching MLB channel and being interested in the greats of the past. What kills me is when we go to card shows in K.C. and he is the youngest person their by 10-15 years ![]() Kids do video games and stuff now, so our hobby is dying off with the lack of interest from the young generation. We enjoy putting sets together (1971 Topps Baseball now, then 1967 Philadelphia Football next) and also 1919 World Series Black Sox and Reds stuff. Then Dad concentrates on 1922 E120's ![]() Thanks again for the info. This board amazes me with it's knowledge from its users. |
