I agree most strip cards are very ugly, but there are some here and there from certain sets that are much better looking than others. I've always liked this Ruth....

Brian, you have a fabulous collection of W504s, especially of the Wash. Senators cards which are super scarce! To me, these are "to die for" cards, ever since I started collecting cards of all players on the 1924 Senators team a few years ago. My 2011 edition of the Standard Catalog of Vintage BB Cards shows that about half of the Senators checklist is still unknown - I don't know if the more recent editions have changed this. FYI, I know of another Board member who has card #160 of WaJo (not checklisted in 2011), but I don't think there is a snowball's chance of enticing him to part with it.

I like the " big stuff '' from the twenties
 .......I would not want to pitch to Chuck Klein with that look on his face... ... Fresco Thompson has beautiful penmanship....it's fountain pen and probably of that period....that doesn't really matter though ; it's just neat that it's signed ; he became a Dodger in the thirties and stayed with them in their organization forever it seems .
