To each their own, but I hated that show. They were supposed experts but, as you say, they made terrible picks. And two of the four were really annoying....the old pony tailed dude and the southern chick. The kind of swishy guy and the new yorker(?) we're not quite as annoying but they all made terrible buys.

I kept waiting for the show to improve, but it never did.

I thought it was more authentic than other shows in the genre. Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Storage Wars - the staged items and over-the-top drama get old in a hurry.

I'm a huge fan of Pickers! The others, not at all. From what I've heard, the part where Mike and Frank roll up is staged but I also heard they truly have not seen the stuff before and they buy a LOT more than what is shown on the show. The collections/hoards they look at blow my mind.
