Yoss--
Me, too; I must have had a search for "1967 Topps Carew" every day for years, hoping to find a centered one--- and then one day saw that card. It was an SGC 88 from a longtime SGC set builder. He had it listed on eBay as he'd recently upgraded to a 9. I could not buy it fast enough. Crossed it for uniformity at the time and was a bit shocked-- the grade does not match the eye appeal by a longshot. Looks like an 8.5 or even a 9 on a good day. Would be among the last cards I'd ever sell if I had to, due to the rarity of the centering. In the right light at the right angle, a small wax stain is barely visible along the bottom center border; perhaps that takes it from a 9 to a 7. Last edited by MattyC; 09-12-2014 at 07:23 PM. |

Nice cards, Matt.....I can't see what's wrong with that Seaver...looks like at least an 8 all day long. I am expecting some cards back from PSA today that I'll post, but in the meantime here's one I picked up for my "Should be in the Hall of Fame" Rookie Collection...

A cheap upgrade to my set. I have seen worst off centered 1975s, so I will just think of it as PSA thought the field was off centered.
