There is a whale or two that have stacks of money to buy T206s......and if they need a card they don't mind paying exponentially more than they will ever be able to sell it for (imo), nor do they care (I am sure).

I was shocked to say the least. Guess I will be content over in the minnows pond. I'm sure the seller is ecstatic this morning.

There were other strong prices, one that surprised me was the miscut back:
http://www.goodwinandco.com/LotDetai...entoryid=28381 It went for 1,025.78. Without the miscut back that card is only a $20-$40 card (depending on the day). I like miscuts and buy them with a premium but that was more than I would have thought for a miscut back that doesn't even have a miscut front.

That is true, but that is still a very strong price for a simple miscut (with no overprint or any other flaws).

![]() The scan of the backs isn't upside down, the actual backs are(or the fronts are?) and I'm not sure which one is Cicotte, except the stained one is Davis

Another with 13 players who were with the Pittsburgh Pirates during the regular season, but never played a game. There's also one about 27 baseball families, as well as a day-by-day look at the worst team in Pittsburgh Pirates history.
