Got Ray Knight to sign today at Nats park before Jordan Zimmermann pitched the Nationals' first no hitter. Have met Ray a couple of times and he's very approachable. I didn't ask for the inscription, which was a nice surprise.

Nice pickup! The catch to end the no-hitter game was one of the best that I've ever seen given the circumstances. WOW-what a game! Did you know that the losing pitcher Henderson Alvarez threw a no-hitter in the last game of the year in 2013 for Miami? Pretty unbelievable actually... I was wondering - when they bring out the game-used balls late in the game, do you know if they were bringing out Zimmerman-pitched baseballs? Just curious - I would think that if a no-hitter was in progress, they would hold their balls (pun intended); otherwise, what an opportunity for the fans to pick up no-hitter balls.

It was one of the best games I've been to, that's for sure. And Denard Span getting his 184th hit, which is a new club single season record, was nice to see, but overshadowed by the no hitter.
