The PSA 2 that went off on ebay was very nice-- and a poor scan/listing maybe even cost it some bids, not that $9300 is anything to sneeze at.

Not a huge fan of any of the REA offerings, but they'll still do well I bet.

I was watching it too, but it was a B variation, which i have already. It was NICE CENTERED, but lack a larger front scan an no back scan.

Default Mantle

This is looking like a crowd of young girls waiting for a Bieber concert to start

I just collect his Topps cards out of necessity to complete sets

oh Al: i be displaying my Mantle plaque/mask as well, i would be proud and bet you are grinning end to end with those dimples.
I let my opportunity slip away, my biggest regret i think.
Not only, but your 2 52's are just plain gorgous.

Default Mantle

Only kidding Chris. I find the ongoing following of Mantle fascinating. I have tried to get all his Topps cards, but mainly to complete sets. He is an expensive necessity to my collection parameters

I do have doubts that the Mask was a Topps product, but it is liseted as such in SCD

I am resigned to the fact I will never get two of his Topps cards, the 61 Dice ( two guys on the board have it) and the 66 Punch out

Default set breaks..price breaks

i not a dealer but i got a feeling dealers cringe with their high buy it nows...when there is set break after set break for 1952s...huge differences in prices and once purchased one less buyer gone that had the potential to overpay for the dealer cards....

also i think every time theres a set break ..the general price of the 52's go down but if months and months pass.....then an upward trend develops...talkign about psa 5 starts to psa 8 level cards.
