Looks like the printer wanted Manning to play a night game and gave him some extra black ink.

A few Coupon type 2's and my first Kotton. Too bad about the front on the Kotton, but, still a Kotton! I like 'em.

Little known fact = Abbaticchio was the first Italian born MLB player AND professional football player!! And, by collecting both the Brown and Blue sleeve versions, I am able to obtain a lot of different backs. I'll move on from Abbaticchio eventually though! Also, for what it's worth, my mom's maiden name is Zappitelli.....see any Italian in that name?

Jimi, cool info...abbaticchio is one of my favorites in the set. Blue and brown sleeves...priceless!

Abbaticchio to Thayer to Zappitelli - lethal double play combo!

I picked this up last night. Its not a Goudey for my set but I sold my vintage collection years back so I decided to then build one up again. Buying only graded pieces. I am focusing mainly on HOFers and such so will see how big it grows over the next year or so. Anywhere here is to the first one back into the new collection. Not to shabby. Great price so very hard to pass up on.
