Anyway, loaded up on bid bucks and a beer, I figured I'd grab one before the next triology releases and a whole new generation is sucked in for life. These figures are crazy nostalgic for me too. I grew up on those movies and toys in a way that even pre-dates baseball (saw the Star Wars re-release in theater at about 2).

Chris- I really like the '36 premium Dimaggio too. Great, weird/toothy grin of his.. and can see why it became a good cartoon. Think he's about 21, but may as well be 14. Am also not a huge fan of '48 Bowmans, but do like them signed.
