Being the cynic I am, it sounds like the dealer is unethical in that they seeded some original but low value tobacco cards with a couple of higher value (notice the two players are Hall of Famers?) cards that are fake. The thinking being that "well, if the OTHER cards are real then the two baseball cards must be real also".
So, some unknowing person spends the big bucks on the fake cards. I imagine the dealer has a "no return" policy on these two cards to boot..... David |
