Well, that part is done. way to go guys, you all stepped up very well, thank you.
Now we will have a short wait till all payments come in. Remember, payments are due by Nov. 17, at 8PM As you probably noticed, we are in good shape as far as payments go. We have less then a dozen members left to pay. Thank you all for your participation. Soon, we hope, we will be able to name the sporting event that will make someone very happy. Bill By the way, still waiting on one person's response who sent money for an entry request to Graig, but not to me, and we hope to be able to identify this person soon.If so, that person had money in before the 8 PM deadline and will be placed on the list. Please check the entry list and make sure all your spots are paid for, as the last raffle some did forget they still owed.
Those who still owe, if you send your payment through the US mail, please let me or Graig know. We have only 9 members who owe money, and 3 of those have payments in the mail already. If all goes well. maybe we can have a midweek raffle and have our new Kreindler painting winner at that time. Remember, all payments are due my Monday of next week. We are very close to all paid up, as we just have to be patient with the US postal service, we all know them well. We hope to be posting the sporting event very soon.
Does anyone know where we can get the box score for Rugby games???? Just kidding, very soon all, very soon. Bill

FINALLY, here are the games selected to determine who will win a 20 x 28 inch Graig Kreindler painting. Games were selected by Graig, and we wish everyone good luck.
I will be posting a separate thread which we will use for the raffle itself, and make it much easier to monitor and maintain. And with that, to quote Jackie Gleason with his famous saying from his "Jackie Gleason Show"; "AND AHH WAAAAYYY WE GO" Game#1: NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE GAME. SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 1pm EST TAMPA BAY vs WASHINGTON Game#2- NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17TH 7:30pm EST ORLANDO vs DETROIT Game #3- NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH 7:30pm EST MILWAUKEE vs BROOKLYN We will use the above games, in order, Game 1, through Game 3, to determine a winner. The first game is our primary game to determine the winner of the Graig Kreindler Painting. We will be using the last three numbers of the attendance figure, as posted in the NY times, box score, for Game #1, which will give us the winning number. Any other figure from any other news or sports media, will not be valid. If the winning three digit number from game one falls onto one of the voided numbers and thus not providing a winning number, then and only then will game two become our new primary game to determine the winner, using Game 2's attendance figures, also from the New York Times box score of game 2. Same rules apply for game two as was for game one. If game 2 also falls on a voided number, game 3 will then and only then, become the new primary game to determine the winner. All rules apply to game three as did for game one and two. Again it has been our pleasure to be able to accomplish this event.
