Did you actually think the Beatles first appeared on the Howdy Doody Show?

No -- I should have used the as my personal attempt at humor gone sour

I watched HoDo when I was growing up in NY and after we moved to L.A watched the Beatles on EdSu. A couple of years later, on a quite hot summer evening, the family went out for a drive with the top down and happened to pass by The Hollywood Bowl. The Beatles were performing: if you ever thought A Hard Days Night was fabrication...WHOA! It took us forever to get through the traffic. True Beatlemania.

I was trying to be funny too Paul. I didn't think anyone actually thought the Beatles were on Howdy Doody.

The Hollywood Bowl concert was one of their more famous American shows. There are clips of it on Youtube.

I know you were, Barry. I'm still waiting for someone to design my customized geezer icon.

What is Youtube?

Sometimes joking but always playful.

That was a great clip. I'd never seen it. Thank you!

The Beatles didn't but they did have to keep an eye out for the Termites.

Default Redefining Geezers

There are actually several types of geezers that render your raw exam results uninterpretable. Let me explain the four groups of geezerdom.

1. The Fred Group who get a perfect score of 20. These are geezers with excellent and well preserved long term memory.

2. Then there is a larger group of geezers with some senility, who know they knew all twenty answers, but cannot produce all the answers.

3. Then there is another group of geezers who may have known all the answers, but cannot remember any of them. I would call this group the pre-Alzheimer group.

4. Finally there are the true Alzheimer geezers who take the test every day and continue to find it fresh and stimulating.

So if you are not in the Fred group, do not dispair, for you may still be a geezer in one of the other categories.

Non-geezers know they never knew the answers in the first place and are excluded from the above classification.

I don't hear half of what my wife ever says to me. But nodding my head in favor of whatever she said usually works. I am not sure if I can't hear her or I have trained myself to just nod in favor of any noise coming from her direction. It seems to work though.
