David good point. The presentation case indicates "Half-Pound Silver Proof". The guys on ebay are selling them as 8 Oz bars (".999 Fine Silver, 8 Ounce Bar"). It doesn't say "Troy" pound so maybe it is 8 Oz.

If that's the case and it really is 8 standard ounces, then that would be about 7 Troy ounces since a Troy ounce has more weight than a standard ounce.

I think they look nice and like the cigarette type packaging but price is too steep for me.
