Private message emails quit working? Answer -

I am still not getting the PM's sent to my email. I get them on the site here, just not at my email address.

Several others ARE getting them so lets see if there are any others not getting them and I will report it. Thanks for the feedback...

Tony- we are keeping the email support ticket open with the Hosting company per your email issue. That being said, if a few folks could let me know, in this thread, if any emails from the system are not working which were working before our conversion several days ago, it will be appreciated very much? Thanks for any and all help and Happy Turkey Day too!! And because members will be baking today here are a few bakery cards. I saw the Chase out of the corner of my eye as I was leaving the National the last day, for the last time, many years ago. John Billingham (sp?) had it and we made a deal I couldn't refuse. Love that card.

I have thought it was isolated incidents as quite a few members have told me they ARE getting emails from the system. So if anyone isn't getting them please post in this thread and we will get it figured out. The original support ticket was closed at my request but opening another isn't a big deal if we need to. thanks much

i sent ya a PM Leon the other day and understand the issue...I wasnt getting any email notification, but i do tend to visit the site almost every day. I use Yahoo Att.net
How about sending me a PM so often, so i know if/when it works.

I just sent an EM to myself thru N54 to test. It came thru about 2 hrs later.

Are you using ATT/Yahoo? I have some reports from others that their emails are working, albeit sometimes slowly. If any are working it usually means it probably isn't a systemic issue. Not always, but usually, in my experiences.

No. I use Juno. It is an archaic email system, but I was getting emails until just a couple of days ago. I don't get Private messages on a daily basis but in the last couple days I have gotten a couple but no emails.

Still seems a bit isolated. Let's give it another few days and see if anyone else has board email issues (other than Chris, who we know about)....LL
