Looks like several sellers have lots up at BIN of $2 a card.
Parkerj33 has them at $2.50 and is very reliable. While priced a little higher, if you contact him directly, he discounts by $0.25 per card in off ebay transactions and also tends to have better prices than ebay when he has star cards in stock. Since you have no sp's you may want to wait for a lot to appear. Often you can get cards as low as $1 a piece in these situations. You'll need every card in the lot so there's no hassle at this point of getting duplicates you have to resell.

try comc.com; it's perfect for this kind of collecting, plus they've got Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales going on.
