good story, Tom...had a friend years ago that WAS a dumpster diver, and he turned up all kinds of cool shit!
also heard stories of people not wanting stuff anymore and leaving them on top - or beside - trash containers, realizing there may be some value and hoping somebody would give it a new home as they had no use for it. myself, never had much (any) luck finding anything collectible-related, yet I have found/taken a few small shelves, etc. that were useful. |
