If you like Williams there are some nicely rendered colorized images of classic publicity photos and fan response cards, like this 1957 PC:

Ted Williams was paid $5000 to sign a contract with FLEER that year. So, Sy Berger (an avid Ted Williams fan) did not print a card of Ted in the 1959 TOPPS set.
Personally, I saw Ted Williams play when I was a kid. Although, I was Yankees fan, Teddy was one of my favorites. Therefore, I like the 1959 FLEER set, and I have completed 4 sets of them. ![]() TED Z . |
