WOW I missed all the fun! Boy I wish I saw this thread in time to sign up for a slot. Oh well. I will have to keep a better watch for something like this in the future. At least, I hope something like this will happen again.

I'm happy with what I received..... 1939 Play Ball #53 Carl Hubbell.
An ex-Detroit Tiger (kinda). Looking forward to a future break. Thanks again Nick & Leon.

Thanks also Nick and Leon - That was fun. (Also, my compliments on the choice and variety of the pre-war shoebox - there is really no reason it needs to correspond to a full set since we are breaking it up anyway!) Best, David

Looks like I ended up with another card thanks to Sean. Thanks, Sean!
I'll probably hold on to these cards until I find someone building a set and in need of one of them... then pay it forward. Looking forward to the next group break! |

Thanks to the generous and awesome Ian... I've still got a 1940 Play Ball Frank Hayes ("Blimp" to you) for trade...
I'd take any Giants card... or any Goudey (even ones w/ holes and crayon marks).... Let me know... otherwise Blimp will be mine... "Oh, The Humanity!"

Hey guys,
All the packages are in the mail so expect to receive them sometime this week (likely Wednesday-Friday). I'd really like to thank Leon for making this happen as well as everyone who joined. This break was a lot of fun and hopefully we can do another one relatively soon. Leon & I will keep our eyes peeled for another great set/lot. Thanks, -Nick
