Griffith and Co. 1901. I was going to guess 1899 but was already taken.
Louis Chaldecott the secretory and treasurer committed suicide in March 22nd of 1907 and it was already known as National Chicle Co. then. |

These items date to April 1906 and National Chicle was still under the Griffith banner.

Per the national Corporation Reporter Volume 39, the name was changed from Griffith & Co to National Chicle Gum Company in 1910. That said, I am not sure if that answers Leon's original question or not, as I do not know if a name change is what he was looking for.

I will try Griffith and Co changed to National Chicle in 1909? August 8th if I remember correctly.
