One of my fondest hobby memories...I found a full box of these Babe Ruth Underwear in an antique shop back in the 1980s - six unused onesies, each pair folded with a beautiful paper strap and with the beautiful cloth signature label. I called my dad to share the good news: "Dad! I just picked up six pairs of Babe Ruth Underwear!"
His reply: "How do you know they were his?" Stunned, I thought for a minute and then told him they smelled like hot dogs. We laughed about that for years. Thanks for reminding me of that!
