That was the first big card convention in St. Louis. I remember stopping at Fred Roniger's table and looking intently at 10-15 old Wrestling Exhibits. I had never seen them before and was amazed. I'm sure my eyes were popping out of my head. Fred said, "You like those? Take 'em. Their yours."
What a nice man. Thanks, Fred! BTW, our club was called The St. Louis Cards. Get it? |
