Just wanted to say what an amazing collection of Wrestling All-Star cards that WrestlingCardKing has posted in this thread. I was a huge wrestling fan from the late 1970s up through the mid '90s or so. I grew up on the (W)WWF of the time and was a faithful attendee of television tapings at the Hamburg (Pa.) Fieldhouse and Allentown (Pa.) Ag Hall.

But even though I grew up as a (W)WWF fan, I was a voracious reader of the "Apter mags" to find out what was going on in other territories.

I appreciate the compliment. I figure that most card collecting is about holding on to some of the memories we have of that person and this set does that. Collecting autographs of wrestlers of this era is really difficult. Thanks again. WCK

I wasn't sure how the Baron would react to signing this card from Japan but he signed it and his wife commented on how he thought better of it and switched to an Iron Cross

That signed collection is awesome. Not a huge fan, but grew up watching a bunch of these guys back in the AWA days as I live in the Minneapolis area. Brought back some memories. Thanks

I would have to agree with you......the older ball players have good ones too....as far as the modern athlete I am not so sure that should qualify as a signature most of the time.

Nick Bockwinkel passed away. I imagine that many of the wrestlers will be leaving us all soon.......that makes 13 of the 36 in the set who have died.
