I liked "Mashi" a lot more than I like Mr. Fitts' Wally Yonamine book. I got lost in the Yonamine book when he would dissect individual at-bats for pages at a time. I was glad not to see pitch-by-pitch recollections of any of Murakami's games. That particular nit picked, I can't wait for Mr. Fitts' next book, and am planning to see them in Cooperstown next month.
