Player Collections of T206 ??

Back in 2009 I bought a T206 collection of 130-plus cards that were bought & collected back in the day by a Minor Lg pitcher named Roy Mellinger.

I have a T206 Matty that is signed on the back by J Dugan. Could be his hand writing and he was in his teens when the set was produced.

Edit: I also read an article where Dugan gave away a Babe Ruth signed ball to a current player in the 1970's.....so he may have been a collector.

Not directly on point, but I love that Paddy Livingston had "reprints" of his T206 card made up -- with Piedmont backs and everything! -- to distribute to enterprising through-the-mail autograph seekers. I grab these whenever I can find them...
