Hi Brian,
The SCD article implies that the coins (1-120) were issued with more than one series of 1964 cards: "The PX-17’S were issued with the first few series of 1964 Topps cards, exactly how many series is not known." Unfortunately, apart from implying that they were issued with more than one series, it does not look like they have much in the way of details. Given the quantity that exists, it would not shock me if they were issued right up until Topps started including the All Star coins, but that is purely speculative. Chris
