Added this handsome (I like the colors) c. 1910 mug that fits well into my Cornell collection. Not especially valuable, but rare in that I have come across many mug/stein types over the years, but have never seen this early version before.

I've always wanted Wille Mays pine tar, and finally picked up a can.
The programs and 1929 WS photo with Al Simmons and Mickey Cochrane came from a local show.

Just picked up this (not so remarkable photo) on eBay, showing a suspender-wearing man at Yankee Stadium in 1938. He's sitting in a free-standing Windsor chair, identical to the one I obtained last month from Lelands:





But let's look more closely. Notice the twisted-wire added to the chair to tighten up the wooden pieces:



And here's the identical repair on my chair:



Well, I thought it was interesting.

That is interesting. Nice provenance for the chair....and I am pretty sure that is Joe Jackson in suspenders, unmistakeable ear.
