I agree with the generational theory. Complaints have now trickled all the way down to the way people write their name.

i don't care to discuss the legibility of a player's signature (again), but yes goldschmidt is a great player, a superstar...it's ok to say.

It's bad enough that in the Mets' programs they have a section where they show players' signatures and ask you to identify the player.

One has to wonder - do the players sign their contracts and other legal paperwork the same way?

That's crazy, maybe if the decimal point was moved over one at 46.xx it may be about right...still a tad high.

I think you can really pinpoint the decline of signatures to when card companies started having players sign thousands of cards (or stickers) for them in a single sitting.
