I just scanned every other page in this post - only slightly more fun than doing real work at my desk. I propose that we hold a fake auction for this rare front/back Cobb.

I fake bid $2,000 (kind of like Frank Bucks)

Frank bucks - $2,005.

This is the most ridiculous thread on this website. Yet, it still lives.
I guess anyone can bump it. But it needs to die. This guy isn't moving this card, even if he has it. And I don't think he does.

He never sets a price. Last post for me. Carry on.

Oh, and God Bless.

The implication that Frank Bucks were not real is either libelous or slander. I need to check with my virtual attorney, but I do consider this an actionable offense.

Nearly $50 in discounts were issued during the Frank Bucks promotion.

And don't try to tell me that Donald at Disneyland is a man named Frank in a duck suit and not a duck.

Of course if it were, that would be Franks Duck.

NB: Poetic License invoked for the deletion of the apostrophe in Franks Duck.

Neither libelous nor slander here. I just read this whole thread. Will a yawning drool do?

Desiderata

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Strive to be happy.

This thread is an interesting psychological experiment. When I first saw it, I was in awe of the card. But after seeing it posted in a dozens different threads, seeing this thread bumped every couple days for 6 months, and reading that some respected posters have doubts about the card's authenticity, I don't have any interest in at all.

I'm sure this phenomena has happened before in the hobby, but its the first time I've seen it in action, at least to this extent.
