What happened to the rule or practice that it was bad form to comment on BST threads? PS Jake, why do you care how Robert sells his card?

This hasn't been a BST THREAD for months. It is a DISCUSSION about selling or not selling a card and should not be here on the BST. Every time I come here to see what's for sale, I se see this freakin' thread. Every time I bump one of my threads to help generate sales, someone posts a meaningless comment on this thread.
Leon.....Please move this thread to another section of the forum. |

The card is for sale...that is fine. But, endless conversations do not belong here. I am too lazy too count but the percentage of posts actually pertaining to making an offer or rejecting one ('cause you sure as hell haven't accepted one) is microscopic.

I read the thread about the snyder card and it seems there are lots of people here that have strong opinions about what others should and should not do, when in reality it is not even the slightest bit of yheir concern of were even asked for their opinion. I will go back to not saying anything now. Good luck with your sale. I hope you get 30k and end this thread with everyone that wants the card at a steal pounding sand. |

Kevin,
You really think the people that would like this thread to go away are jealous that he owns the card? I think that's the easy way to dismiss legitimate concerns. I just think it's really rude of the guy who owns the card to clog up the BST by bumping this thread as often as every three days. There are plenty of guys on this board who have more valuable cards that they want to sell. None of them have ever opened up a 5 month long blog thread about a single card. They might make one post about it here, and then if it doesn't sell, quietly send it to Goodwin, REA, LotG, etc. Any net54 member who collects t206 has already seen this thread. So him bumping it serves no purpose that I can see. |
