Robert, unless you are finding all the stupid comments entertaining, perhaps you should just start a new thread and hope people won't pile on this time.

The same thing would happen. It's amazing I have always bought never sold I try to sell one card and this is what happens. Me thinks that I will stick to buying.

Stupidity on display can indeed be entertaining, which is why I asked Robert.

If I started another thread they would just jump over there. Next month there's a big card show here on Long Island think I will go and consign it with an auction house because this is just crazy. It's at 20K and will stay there.

Once we got to a point around 200 posts ago, the general rules for a BST transaction were mostly out the window. This isn't a dictatorship, contrary to what a few might think, or a loosely run board (imo), and the rules are always guidelines which should usually be followed. I am fairly sure most members don't want a stale place? And I have had more than a couple PMs and emails asking me to lock this thread. My question is why? It is 1 thread on a page of 35. If you don't like it, skip it. If it gets way out of control, in my opinion, then maybe something else will be done. I/we never like to lock threads. That's my half cent....I bid $10k !!

This is a great suggestion. List the card, price, and perhaps ask those who aren't interested not to comment.

And if this is an auction now, I'll bid 11k

Everyone's stupid except the OP who can't convince any of the "dozen or so people" who estimate the card to be worth 25-35K to pay 18K for it.

It's not 18 anyway it's 20k guess you can't read moron. Plus most of the people making comments don't have the money anyway and really need to keep there comments to them selves. Plus you're real tough on the computer are you not how about in person?

Maybe before you call someone a moron you should learn how to spell "themselves."

And considering you treat this card like Gollum treated his Precious, the chances of you controlling yourself from not shilling it in an open auction without a reserve seems pretty remote to me.

Figured it was overdue to hear that be said. You nailed the double fecta. Spelling and a shill insult.

Intelligent.

if sell at the low end...25k and buy for 18 even the '20k' thats being asked..thats only a poor 5k profit.....dealers need to make money too...how they going to make money if only making 5k on the card at worst and only make 15K at best....c'mon they need to make a living too..

Let's hit 400 posts on this thread. Very doable at this point. And I have never contemplated living in a card, but an interesting thought. But it begs one question? Where would I store my other cards? Hmmmmm
