Thanks for the kind words! I could certainly always redo that part if I found a better signature of his (this was the best I could find after looking forever in terms of size), but it may be months/years for that to happen. Remember that it isn't just quality of signature; it is size, too. I believe his is the last one I was able to find. Honestly though, if I found a perfectly sized autograph on his in white, I don't think I'd change it out.

Aside from that though, I think that is part of what adds to the charm of this piece; yeah, many of the others you can't tell they are from other teams - Parker from the Pirates, Eck from the Indians, Gallego the Cardinals, Weiss w/the Rockies, but this piece is all about taking "pieces from different puzzles" to create something truly unique. I love the over all colors of everything.

The journey of finding things that were a few dollars to create quite possibly my favorite piece in my collection has been really rewarding!

Thank you again for the kind words - I hope to create more cool things in the future

Beautiful piece!

Thanks! I missed several guys, so I decided to focus on the players that 1) played in the world series itself and 2) the guys that I remember most as a child. I actually had considered doing a front and back, but decided against it.

I see, I see.

I remember those '88 and '90 A's teams that swept the Sox out of the ALCS!

Friggin Eckersley and that point!

Eck actually lives a town over from me now and I ran into him one day when I was working at a grocery store...talked about the point...told me he actually 'felt' for Dwight Evans! Also got a wicked nice 'graph from him that day.

That is mega cool! I think I read somewhere that he was pointing and laughing at the batters. I always thought he was pointing to the catcher as a victory sign like "yeah, we got him!" Apparently it was more of a "You suck, diddly uck, Flanders!"
