Is $550 for a pretty bad 3 '54 Aaron too good to be true? I thought it was a little low but not at a "steal" price. I sent my payment Goods and Services and got the refund. I almost got scammed and can't help feeling like an idiot. I'm not to the point of wishing death on him and those he cares about but I hope the OP cuts his gums when he flosses and burns the roof of his mouth on breakfast. Added: it seems that he might be in cahoots with ebitz.

added: how you know ebitz is in cahoots..you may be right but wondering how you know also strange that the aaron is an SGC card...postwar..why so many postwar cards on net54 SGC? how many more PSA 1954s are there versus SGCs Last edited by 1952boyntoncollector; 10-22-2015 at 09:04 AM. |

As for ebitz: how many posts does he have? When did he join? I think the only involvement he had was either to possibly try to run the price up(on a card that doesn't exist) or to just add some confusion to the matter hoping we would just send it FF. Once again the word greed come up. So you know why I was trying to buy it? None of your damn business, but I'll enlighten you anyway. I need it for my set. I have a much nicer one that I'm not going to put in a low to mid grade set. I DO sell cards. As I'm sure you do too. This was not going to be one of them. I am really tired of your asinine assessments of what everyone else's motives are.

I am not pointing at you..i just talking in general as how fraudsters try to get suckers by taking advantage of their greed...you don't think that's how fraudsters/Ponzi schemer work? you say once again? right I last brought it up on 1961 Fleer Wilt Chamberlain Sgc 8 Graded Card where the guy wanted $800 or so when the card sold for $3000 previously....it would look like someone is trying to get greedy 'deal' there...... I don't think my comment was shocking or annoying there.. (if you saw my post before, you would of seen that it was the same seller for this card as the chamberlin, how is it bad I am pointing on fraudsters on threads, maybe others didn't attempt to buy from this guy because of my prior post) If I see a fraud seller I will 'once again' bring it up If you are someone's house making a deal maybe that's different (in terms of price too good to be true) then here on a baseball card website where everyone has good sense of value...if theres a 800 card for sale that's sold for 3000 we can rest assured its not a real deal.. there was a poll on net 54 about a rare t206 back about what the buyer would do at a card show..one of the options was to tell the seller that the card was being priced too cheap or something to that effect .....some people who sell cards have no idea what they are worth..but its likely not going to happen on net54 .. I not questioning your motives..i just talking in general.....fraudsters profit on peoples greed... Last edited by 1952boyntoncollector; 10-22-2015 at 09:25 AM. |

I didn't think it was a bad '3'. It was nice and centered on the front. The price wasn't a super steal. It was low enough to draw interest, but not too low to raise a red flag (unlike the Chmaberlain rookie). It was priced at what it should bring on Ebay minus the fees. The only red flag I saw was the low post total.

it wasn't a red flag that it was the SAME seller as the chamberlain rookie? plus people on net54 typically don't start off at that type of price...lots of price reductions....... Last edited by 1952boyntoncollector; 10-22-2015 at 09:21 AM. |

I didn't know he tried to sell a Chamberlain rookie. David James pointed it out to me that he did.

I hadn't seen the Chamberlain rookie because I don't collect basketball. I almost pulled the trigger on the AAron (thank God I didnt). I thought it was priced well to sell fast but not crazy low. What kept me from buying was the low post total, I like to see other people buy cards from someone before I do. i don't blame anyone who got scammed on this one.
