Ah, thanks! I was looking at the game that was part of a double header that ended up going 28 innings between the two games. One also ended 1-0, except with Oaks winning. So it was Henley that he was trying to write on this card. It looked like he wrote Hemming, and that was really messing me up.

I think it says '24 inning game', not Henley or Hemming (though the 4 does look like an H somewhat).

Glad I was able to provide some small assistance.

Even better! I thought it said G Hemming. You really can read 1909!

Been a good month, Just added a really nice James Lavender and Hippo Vaughn for my 1916 Cubs autograph set. Even more importantly, I just bought oneof the nicest space items Ive ever seen. a Gemini litho signed by 13 ofthe 16 Gemini astronauts including Neil Armstrong, Ed White, Gus Grissom, John Young, Charles Conrad, etc. 6 moonwalkers and 2/3rds of the Apollo 1 crew that we re killed. I'm going to had Richard Gordon to it next week at Space Rendezvous and hopefully get James McDivitt at space fest in June. This was featured on Pawn Stars and Rick got a hell of a deal for it. I did nearly as good
