Thats a nice one!
It seems that nodder prices are almost back but why is the pennant market taking so long to recover? |

It's all just supply and demand. Right now the supply exceeds the demand for the more commonly seen pennants. |

Antiquated Hunts website apparently won't simply copy/paste. Oh well- they currently have some nice ones that are garnering spirited bidding.

I was thinking about that last week and I 100% agree... I bought the Golden Gophers Mascot versions While not pennants I think the Danbury Mint stuff could have a big rise in value as well

I agree that high end rare examples seem to be doing a lot better than I would expect. High quality scarce examples always seem to do well. What else is new.

Just kind of watch the auctions and figure out what you like. I always encourage people to buy what they like and not what others say they should like. Buy high quality and you will never go wrong.
Pennants are great because there are so many different styles and price points compared to other collectibles. Also, great examples are fairly rare and tough to find. They also display incredibly well with almost any current collectible you might already have. Good luck competing against some of these sharks. |
