Probably not much more than a handful of these floating around....I'd be surprised if they totaled double digits

Erick that's the Fleischmann of Wood, right? Stunning card. You know, I think part of it is his face. The dude emits "old school" in every direction.

Wood is my second favorite pitcher, behind Walter Johnson. This is his Underwood & Underwood postcard. I am sure that there are others out there, but I have never seen another.

I have to put in a plug for Lot#904, which is my consignment in the current Goldin Auction. The lot is 3 E120's: Baker SGC vg/ex, Heilman PSA vg/ex+ and WOOD PSA 5 (really nice card). The current bid is $400 and the auction ends in 2 days. Incidentally, I think Goldin's auction software and optics is minor league compared to, say, Heritage.

| 1920 World Series Trip

I thought this might be the place to post this. I was digging through some Type I pictures my dad has of some Cleveland Indians and i found this one. It was in with a bunch of other ones with other men. Looks to be of a hunting trip after the 1920 WS with Smoky Joe Wood having a good time on the hunting trip. I have a bunch of other ones that i will definitely be keeping of the whole hunting party. I found a link to a mention of the trip:https://books.google.com/books?id=hW...unting&f=false Is this Joe Wood? Because it sure looks like him from all the other pictures and cards you all have posted. Andy |
