Age and bad knees decided for me to hang it up after 26 years. Had a great time, numerous deployments, traveled the world and made some good friends.

Jim,

I see you were stationed at Plattsburgh. That is right across the lake from me and I used to go there for PX and Commissary privileges. As you may have known the base closed just after you left in 1995 and as early as 1996, the major runway hosted a Phish concert with 70,000 fans! (No F-16s were harmed or involved in that concert!)

Now, the base has a bunch of businesses on it and I think housing also for civilians.
