NOPE depends what state you are in.....you would pay a tax to PWCC if you lived in Oregon....sales tax 5-10% makes its a 25-30% buyers premium.

Default Unendable

It is truly the never ending thread. Likely will get revved back up come auction time.

I don't believe Oregon has a state sales tax. I'm sure that is part of what prompted the move. Makes sense though. I have never bid in a memory lane auction though and rarely in heritage because i'm in CA and it makes it tough to compete.

right the reason PWCC moved was to free up more bids from California....lots of more bids come in from California than Oregon..thats the reason he moved away from California sales tax or not in Oregon..

Default Beautiful card

Don't have the funds, but will be fun to watch. Good luck with a great card.

Nice. Will also be watching, but this card is out of my stratosphere for bidding.

While I might've picked REA or LOTG to sell it, you can't go wrong with Heritage (plus it's a featured item and part of the live auction).

You might want to change your original post (and maybe even the title of this thread) to reflect that it's now offered on Heritage, but that's up to you.

I like this last line in the description (not too flowery, and just enough hype to generate some interest):

Quote:
As one of the few remaining examples of this elusive early twentieth century artifacts are absorbed into permanent private collections, we may soon have to content ourselves with old auction catalog photography should we wish to visit one.

We will see if you asked too much 25k or if just net54 members are too cheap....its a shame if it goes for 25k with BP...which means 5k was BP (not to mention the extra few hundred for taxes ) and Im assuming there would of been a buyer on net54 at the price before BP but 25k was the firm firm price and no price reductions on a thread that has been gong on for 7 months before card sent to an AH..

wow don't know how I missed this thread for last 6 months! That was 20 minutes of entertainment well spent and much better than the million dollar contractor show I was just watching....
