I am far from an expert, but I believe any 70's cards of star players I would have graded and not worry about it if they could grade a 6 or better. If you are going to sell them that is one thing, if your keeping them then they are protected against any further damage and grading will only go up.

Just got the report on these. I didnt grade the Carew or Rose but the Bench got a 7 and Williams an 8 with no qualifiers.

I was excited about it. I think some of the surface imperfections on the Williams was scanner related, it really looks better than that in hand.
