The 1954 Topps trio of Aaron, Banks, and Kaline aren't bad.

1887 Chicago Old Judge cards include Cap Anson, King Kelly, and John Clarkson. However, Kelly had been traded to Boston before the season started.

Not exactly kosher as pre-war, but how about from the old Brooklyn Dodgers; Duke Snider, Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese. Not to mention Campy and a few others.

Bump it up to 56 and you get Koufax too. (No 55 Campanella)

50s Braves -- Aaron Mathews Spahn
60s Giants -- Mays McCovey Marichal Perry
70s Reds -- Rose Bench Morgan Perez
1984 Topps Philles (I think) Rose Morgan Schmidt Carlton

1914 and 15 CJ's have Wagner, Clarke, and Carey although Clarke was primarily just a manager at that point in his career.
