if indeed its 1930. this mean that the player wearing #21 is Ruffing, and #29 is McEnvoy??
I found a pic of a team photo from March 8, 1930 and it mentions this: 1930 New York Yankees Team (St. Petersburg, Florida - March 8, 1930). It’s funny, the only two players in this picture who aren’t wearing their Yankees jerseys are Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig. Then again, they were kind of a big deal. As pictured here: Ruth is top row, L-R 4th guy Gehrig is 2nd row R-L 2nd guy   UPDATE: Another photo i found: In this image the dynamic duo is standing with Manager Bob Shawkey during spring training in St. Petersburg, Florida. This Duo was one of the most feared duos in baseball. In any given game they could go on a home run drive and takeover the scoreboards. This photo is dated Marchn13th 1930 and is Credited by "ACME".
